Our long-standing relationships with local business groups, extensive experience in local government, major business operations, and regional development empower us to access resources often out of reach for new ventures.
Our Mission
KEDA is committed to collaborating with all stakeholders and interest groups to promote and market the Kitimat region efficiently for economic development. We aim to support the retention and expansion of local businesses and industries by nurturing local start-ups. Our goal is to adopt a progressive approach to stabilizing, stimulating, and diversifying the Kitimat economy.

We work closely with all levels of government—federal, provincial, First Nations, and local—to facilitate and expedite responsible economic development. Additionally, we collaborate with similar groups and organizations with compatible objectives to share resources and information, always prioritizing the interests of Kitimat.
